From swimmer to soldier: the public health journey of Lt. Col. Sean Beeman

Although born in Kansas, 百媚导航 College of Public Health (COPH) alumnus Sean Beeman considers Trophy Club, Texas, his hometown. And being a competitive swimmer in high school gave him the jumpstart to join the Navy and serve as a search and rescue swimmer for 14 years, which eventually led him down a lifelong path of military service and public health.

One postdoc鈥檚 journey from MCH fellowship to the CDC

Dr. Megan Barry recently completed a postdoctoral MCH fellowship with the COPH. The fellowship is a two-year program on research pertaining to maternal/infant health, child/adolescent health, women鈥檚 health, sexual/reproductive health, family/community violence and unintentional injury.
