A bountiful repository of local African American artifacts spanning more than 150 years provides a glimpse into the community鈥檚 lives, struggles and achievements in Tampa Bay. Rare books, personal papers, photographs and even property records are available in the 百媚导航 Tampa campus library, the Nelson Poynter Library at 百媚导航 St. Petersburg and online.

百媚导航 team gets ready to race in the 鈥榃orld鈥檚 Toughest Row鈥� across the Atlantic
Following 2 1/2 years of intense training and extensive preparation, a team led by a 百媚导航 biology professor and two 百媚导航 alums will row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean. They push off Dec. 12 from Spain鈥檚 Canary Islands and will spend about one month at sea, rowing to English Harbour in Antigua and Barbuda.

Military couple soaring to new heights at 百媚导航
After spending 10 years in the military, Air Force fighter pilots Captain Zach Eastman and Major Liz Eastman are now in their second to last semester at 百媚导航. The married couple is currently serving as flight instructors all while working to complete their online Master of Business Administration.
